Planning an Intimate Micro Wedding Near Houston and Galveston.

Micro-wedding venue near Houston. A meaningful wedding does not require hundreds of guests, an enormous ballroom, or a celebration that feels more like a production than a marriage.

For some couples, the perfect wedding is an intimate ceremony surrounded by the people who have truly been part of their story.

The Little Ranch Farm in Santa Fe, Texas, offers micro weddings, elopements, and vow renewals for couples who want a private celebration filled with natural beauty, thoughtful details, and genuine connection.

Located between Houston and Galveston, our family-owned farm provides a peaceful setting where couples can exchange vows, celebrate with their closest loved ones, and create beautiful portraits without traveling between several locations.

What Is a Micro Wedding?

A micro wedding includes many of the meaningful traditions of a wedding day with a smaller guest list.

Couples may still include:

  • A decorated ceremony

  • Wedding attire

  • Family and friends

  • Personal vows

  • Flowers

  • Music

  • A wedding cake

  • A first dance

  • A styled reception

  • Family and wedding-party portraits

  • Professional photography

The difference is not the importance of the occasion. It is the scale.

A smaller guest count gives couples more time to speak with the people they invited, remain present during the celebration, and focus on the commitment they are making to each other.

The Little Ranch Farm accommodates intimate celebrations of approximately 35–40 guests, depending on the selected wedding experience.

A Private Farm Wedding in Santa Fe, Texas

The Little Ranch Farm is our family’s home, a working homestead, and a private property available by appointment only.

My husband and I have spent years building and developing the farm together. Every structure, pathway, garden, photography location, and gathering space has been added with purpose.

The result is a wedding setting that feels personal, warm, and completely different from a traditional event hall.

Couples can exchange vows surrounded by natural beauty and celebrate in a space that has already been thoughtfully designed to feel inviting and photograph beautifully.

Because the farm is private, you will not share your ceremony with crowds of visitors or people walking through the background.

Wedding Experiences Designed Around Your Celebration

The Little Ranch Farm offers several experiences for couples who want different levels of support.

Depending on the selected package, your wedding may include:

  • Private use of the ceremony or wedding space

  • A decorated ceremony location

  • Handmade rustic benches for guests

  • Access throughout the farm for wedding portraits

  • A beautifully styled reception area

  • Guest tables and seating

  • Table linens and runners

  • Greenery centerpieces

  • A sweetheart table

  • A rustic barrel cake table

  • A covered reception canopy

  • Professional photography through an eligible package

Couples planning a simple ceremony may not need the same experience as those hosting a ceremony and reception. Our available packages allow you to choose the option that best fits the celebration you are planning.

Current inclusions, pricing, and availability can be found on the Little Ranch Farm wedding page.

A Beautiful Setting Without Starting From Scratch

Many venues provide an empty space and leave the couple responsible for making it feel complete.

That can mean renting chairs, tables, linens, arches, décor, centerpieces, and other pieces before the celebration begins. Those items must then be delivered, installed, managed, and removed.

Eligible Little Ranch Farm wedding experiences begin with a thoughtfully styled ceremony and may include coordinated reception details.

Our farmhouse aesthetic is warm, natural, and timeless. The goal is to create a cohesive setting that allows couples to enjoy a beautiful celebration without having to build every part of it themselves.

Package inclusions vary, so couples should review the current details when deciding which experience best fits their plans.

More Than 30 Locations for Wedding Portraits

The Little Ranch Farm was created by photographer Natasha Snyder with the finished photographs in mind.

The property includes more than 30 photography opportunities, which may include:

  • A working greenhouse built from antique windows

  • Private pond and dock

  • Vintage wooden rowboat

  • 1954 GMC truck

  • Horse trailer

  • Piano house

  • Open pastures

  • Tree swings

  • Vintage wishing well

  • Log wall

  • Gardens and pathways

  • Rustic structures

  • Seasonal installations

  • Hidden spaces throughout the property

Couples can create a varied wedding gallery without leaving the venue or spending part of the celebration driving to another portrait location.

The property can provide romantic, rustic, natural, playful, and timeless settings within the same wedding experience.

Location availability may vary with the season, weather, current installations, and normal activity on our working farm.

Exclusive Wedding Photography by Natasha Snyder

Professional wedding photography by farm owner Natasha Snyder is available exclusively through eligible Little Ranch Farm wedding packages.

Natasha Snyder Photography does not accept traditional, off-site, or standalone wedding bookings. A micro wedding, elopement, or vow renewal held at The Little Ranch Farm is the only opportunity to reserve Natasha as your wedding photographer.

This allows the venue, timeline, styling, lighting, and photography to work together as a cohesive experience.

As the creator of the farm and a working portrait photographer, Natasha knows how the light moves throughout the property, which locations photograph best during different seasons, and how to create variety without taking the couple away from their guests for an extended period.

Couples selecting a venue-only experience may discuss their outside photography plans with the farm. Couples wanting photography by Natasha must reserve an eligible farm wedding package that includes her services.

Elopements at The Little Ranch Farm

An elopement can be as simple as the couple exchanging vows privately or may include a small group of close family and friends.

The farm provides a meaningful setting for couples who want the beauty of a wedding day without planning a larger event.

An elopement may still include:

  • Wedding attire

  • Flowers

  • Personal vows

  • A decorated ceremony location

  • Cake or a small celebration

  • Family portraits

  • Romantic couple portraits

  • Professional photography

The experience can remain simple while still feeling intentional and worthy of being remembered.

Vow Renewals and Anniversary Celebrations

A vow renewal honors everything that happened after the original wedding day.

It may celebrate a milestone anniversary, a marriage that has grown through difficult seasons, or the simple decision to pause and recognize the life two people have built together.

The intimate setting at The Little Ranch Farm allows couples to recommit to each other in front of their children, grandchildren, closest friends, or privately with only the two of them.

Vow renewals can be quiet, emotional, and deeply personal without requiring the size or structure of another traditional wedding.

Is a Micro Wedding Right for You?

A Little Ranch Farm micro wedding may be the right fit if you:

  • Want to celebrate with approximately 35–40 guests or fewer

  • Prefer a private and relaxed environment

  • Want the ceremony and portraits at the same location

  • Love natural, rustic, or farmhouse style

  • Value meaningful moments over a large production

  • Want help creating a cohesive ceremony and reception setting

  • Prefer an experience that already includes important design elements

  • Want a celebration that feels personal and unhurried

  • Would like exclusive access to wedding photography by Natasha Snyder

A micro wedding is not an incomplete version of a larger wedding.

It is an intentional choice to celebrate with the people who matter most.

Practical Details to Consider

The Little Ranch Farm is a private working property rather than a traditional indoor event venue.

Before reserving your date, couples should understand a few practical details:

  • Wedding experiences are available by appointment.

  • Guest capacity depends on the selected package.

  • Parking is available for approximately 15 vehicles, so guests may need to carpool.

  • A farm restroom is available.

  • The restroom may be used for touch-ups and final adjustments, but it is small and not air-conditioned.

  • Couples and wedding parties should arrive mostly dressed and prepared.

  • Alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the property.

  • Outdoor celebrations always involve some weather risk.

  • Current policies and package inclusions should be reviewed before booking.

These details help couples decide whether the farm matches the experience they want for their wedding day.

When Should You Reserve Your Date?

Micro weddings are limited, and availability depends on the farm calendar, season, and the amount of preparation required for the selected experience.

Couples should inquire once they have chosen a preferred date and have a realistic estimate of their guest count.

Booking early provides more time to plan the ceremony, discuss the package, coordinate photography when applicable, and prepare the property for the celebration.

Tours are available by appointment so couples can experience the farm and ask questions before making their final decision.
