Welcome! We are a photography farm rental near Houston that provides an outdoor photography studio in Galveston County. The best photography locations do more than provide a pretty background.
They give photographers beautiful light, visual variety, room to create, and an experience their clients will remember.
The Little Ranch Farm in Santa Fe, Texas, was created by photographer Natasha Snyder with those needs in mind. Located between Houston and Galveston, the farm offers photographers, content creators, couples, and families a private creative property filled with original locations, styled sets, an indoor photography studio, and experiences designed around the finished photographs.
What began as our family’s home and working homestead has grown into a six-acre photography property with more than 30 unique photo opportunities. Every structure, pathway, garden, and installation has been added with purpose and built over time by my husband and me.
This is our home, our farm, and a dream we have spent years creating together. We are honored to share it with photographers and their clients.

Created by a Photographer for Photographers
As a working photographer, I understand what photographers need from a rental location.
A beautiful setting matters, but so do lighting, accessibility, privacy, convenience, and variety. Photographers need enough options to create a full gallery without loading their clients into a vehicle and driving between several different locations.
They need space for children to move, areas that complement different portrait styles, and setups that look beautiful from the photographer’s side of the camera.
That understanding has guided the development of The Little Ranch Farm.
Each photography location has been evaluated through the eyes of someone who will actually use it. I consider where the sun rises and sets, how the light changes throughout the day, which directions provide the strongest composition, how families will interact with the space, and whether the location creates something meaningfully different for a finished gallery.
The farm was not built by someone guessing what photographers might need. It was created and continually developed by a photographer who works with families, maternity clients, newborns, children, seniors, couples, and milestone sessions.
More Than 30 Photography Locations
The Little Ranch Farm gives photographers access to a wide range of settings without ever leaving the property.
Available locations may include:
A working greenhouse built from antique windows
A private pond and dock
A vintage wooden rowboat
A 1954 GMC truck
A rustic horse trailer
The piano house
Open pastures
Wildflower areas
Tree swings
A vintage wishing well
The log wall
Gardens and pathways
Rustic structures
The color-door wall
Seasonal installations
Hidden spaces throughout the property
Availability may change with the seasons, weather, ongoing farm projects, and natural growth across the property. That evolution is part of what makes the farm special. Returning photographers continually discover new ways to use familiar spaces, while original locations and installations are added as the property grows.
A photographer may create rustic senior portraits, romantic maternity images, relaxed family photographs, playful children’s sessions, branding content, and engagement portraits during the same rental—all without leaving the farm.
Private and Exclusive Rentals
The Little Ranch Farm is private property and a working homestead. All rentals, visits, and tours are available by appointment only.
Rental time is reserved exclusively for the photographer and their clients. We do not routinely double-book photographers, allowing you to work without competing for locations, waiting for another session to finish, or photographing around crowds.
This privacy is especially helpful when hosting mini sessions. Photographers may schedule multiple clients during their reserved time without paying an additional mini-session fee.
The wrap-around driveway and designated parking area make it easier for clients to arrive and leave throughout a rental. Photographers bringing horses, livestock, or client pets can also contact us before booking to discuss the session and property guidelines.
Your rental time includes setup and breakdown, so photographers should plan their client schedule accordingly.
Seasonal and Themed Photography Sets
Original set design has always been an important part of The Little Ranch Farm.
Instead of purchasing a few decorations and placing them in front of a generic background, each installation is planned around the way it will photograph. Color, scale, texture, seating, light direction, and the number of people who may use the set are considered throughout the design process.
Seasonal and specialty installations allow photographers to offer their clients distinctive experiences without purchasing, storing, transporting, building, and maintaining the sets themselves.
Depending on the season, photographers may find fall, Christmas, spring, floral, children’s, or other creative installations available as add-ons to the standard farm rental.
Photographers who reserve a specialty set are not restricted to that installation. Their rental still provides access to the available farm locations, giving them greater variety during their session time.

Props and Specialty Add-Ons
The farm also offers specialty props and experiences that may be added to eligible rentals.
These may include the miniature greenhouse, vintage tricycle, flower swing, seasonal pieces, floral styling, and our vintage rowboat on the private pond.
These add-ons help photographers create something unique without the cost and logistics of owning every item themselves. Some require additional setup or assistance, so availability, safety guidelines, and fees vary by selection.
Every add-on is intended to support the photographer’s vision while keeping the experience convenient for both the photographer and client.
The Little Ranch House Studio
Texas weather is not always cooperative.
Extreme heat, rain, strong winds, and unpredictable conditions can make outdoor sessions difficult. The Little Ranch House Studio gives photographers a climate-controlled indoor option located right here at the farm.
The home-inspired photography studio includes kitchen, living room, and bedroom spaces beneath one roof. Photographers can create several looks during a single rental without changing buildings or transporting clients to another location.
Natural light fills the studio, and continuous lighting is available for additional flexibility.
The Little Ranch House Studio is ideal for:
Newborn lifestyle portraits
Maternity sessions
Baby and childhood milestones
Family photography
Branding and content creation
Couples portraits
Seasonal mini sessions
Christmas experiences
Creative projects
The studio’s styled rooms provide more warmth and character than a traditional blank studio while giving photographers the consistency and comfort of an indoor environment.

Mini Sessions, Content Creation, and Workshops
The property is designed for more than individual portrait sessions.
Photographers may use their rentals for mini-session events, branding photography, content creation, portfolio building, and eligible workshops.
The variety across the farm allows photographers to provide each client with a slightly different experience, even when several sessions are scheduled on the same day. Families may use the greenhouse, seniors may move toward the truck or pond, and children may explore a seasonal installation—all within the same private property.
The Little Ranch Farm also hosts a limited number of its own styled shoots and creative workshops throughout the year. These events are planned and curated by the farm, with concepts designed to help photographers strengthen their portfolios, practice new skills, and create meaningful work.
Micro Weddings and Intimate Celebrations
The Little Ranch Farm also offers micro weddings, elopements, and vow renewals for couples who prefer a smaller and more personal celebration.
Eligible farm wedding experiences may include a decorated ceremony location, handmade rustic benches, private use of the property, styled reception elements, and access throughout the farm for wedding portraits.
Professional wedding photography by Natasha Snyder Photography is available exclusively through eligible Little Ranch Farm wedding packages. Natasha Snyder Photography does not accept traditional or off-site wedding bookings.
This creates a wedding experience in which the property, styling, timeline, and photography are intentionally designed to work together.

Need a Photographer Instead of a Rental?
The Little Ranch Farm serves two different types of visitors.
Photographers may reserve the property, studio, sets, and available add-ons to create portraits for their own clients.
Families and couples who need a photographer may book directly through Natasha Snyder Photography. When you reserve a portrait experience with Natasha, applicable farm access is included according to the selected photography collection. You do not need to reserve the farm separately.
Natasha Snyder Photography specializes in maternity, newborns, childhood milestones, cake smashes, families, seniors, Quinces, couples, engagements, anniversaries, and intimate Little Ranch Farm weddings.
